In every disaster, the same truth emerges: official responders are stretched thin, and neighbors save neighbors. Compa is a mutual-aid app that makes that instinct instant, organized, and available to everyone: the community layer that emergency plans have always been missing.
Compa was born from lived experience: losing everything in the Chennai floods, then evacuating Miami ahead of Hurricane Irma with no affordable flight and gas stations running dry along the evacuation route. We built the tool we wished existed: one place where a community becomes its own safety net.
